Street photography in Paris – for the sake of art

Hello, dear readers!

It is with great pleasure that I take you on a journey through Paris through the lens of my camera. As a street photographer, I have had the privilege of capturing the city in its most authentic and vibrant moments, and I can’t wait to share my experiences with you.

Choosing to rent an apartment in Paris on a long-term basis has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Having my own base to return to has allowed me to explore the city at my own pace and truly immerse myself in its culture and atmosphere. And when it comes to photographing Paris, nothing beats being able to come back to a comfortable and familiar place after a long day on the streets.

 

Being a street photographer in Paris is like being in the middle of a work of art. Every alley, every square, every facade is filled with its own unique history and character. I love wandering through the streets of Montmartre and capturing the small moments of everyday life unfolding around me. From a street musician playing his guitar to a group of friends sharing a bottle of wine on the sidewalk—every image tells a story worth remembering.

But it’s not just the iconic landmarks that draw me in as a street photographer. It’s also the more remote and forgotten parts of the city that I love to explore. From the charming alleys of the Marais to the bustling markets of Belleville—there’s always something new to discover and document.

Renting an apartment long-term has also given me the opportunity to truly integrate into local life. I’ve had the chance to get to know my neighbors, discover my favorite cafés and shops, and really feel like a part of the community. It’s this sense of belonging that has made my time in Paris so special and my photographs so authentic.

As a street photographer, my passion is to capture life in its purest form and share it with the world. Through my camera, I’ve tried to capture the soul and beauty of Paris, and I hope my photos can inspire others to discover and love this amazing city as much as I do.

Paris and France: A Travel Journal

Hi, friends!

It’s so wonderful to finally be able to share my adventures in Paris and France with you. Spending time here has truly been like stepping into a Claude Monet painting—colorful, lively, and full of surprises around every corner.

I started my journey by renting an apartment in Paris on a long-term basis, which turned out to be a fantastic decision. Having my own place to come back to after a day of exploring has given me the perfect balance between discovering the city and feeling like a local.

The first time I strolled along the Seine, it was like stepping into a romantic movie. The twinkling lights of the Eiffel Tower, the historic bridges, and the charming riverboat cafés created a magical atmosphere that I won’t soon forget. And the food! Croissants for breakfast, cheese and baguette for lunch, and a delicious bouillabaisse for dinner—I really ate my way through Paris.

 

But the trip wasn't just about Paris. Renting an apartment gave me the chance to explore other parts of France as well. I took the train to Provence and was enchanted by the blooming lavender fields and the picturesque villages that looked like they'd been plucked straight from a postcard.

Another highlight was my trip to the Loire Valley, where I explored one castle after another and felt like a real princess. Experiencing the breath of history up close was a feeling I won’t soon forget.

But it’s not just the sights that have made this trip unforgettable. It’s the little moments—sitting at an outdoor café and watching the world go by, taking a stroll along the cobblestone streets of Montmartre, and sharing a glass of wine with new friends at a local tavern—that have made me feel like a part of this wonderful culture.

But it wasn’t just Paris that drew me in—I wanted to explore more of France. One weekend, I took the train to Bordeaux, where I lost myself in the world of wine and enjoyed the rich cultural scene. Another day, I took a trip to Normandy and felt the presence of history as I stood by the white cliffs of Étretat.

One of the most memorable moments was when I visited Versailles. Walking through the magnificent gardens and exploring the splendid palace made me feel like I was part of history. It was like stepping into another era and experiencing royal splendor up close.

 

But it wasn’t just the major sights that made this trip special. It was also the small moments of joy and simplicity—sitting at a bistro and enjoying a cup of coffee, sharing a picnic at the foot of the Eiffel Tower, and strolling along the Seine at sunset—that truly enriched my experience.

As I sit here reflecting on my time in Paris and France, I feel an immense sense of gratitude. This adventure has not only enriched my life with new experiences and memories, but it has also opened my heart to the beauty and diversity that exist all around the world.
