Customer reviews:
- This apartment, though small, is perfect for anyone looking to stay or live in the heart of Paris. The location is ideal: a 3-minute walk to Notre Dame and a 10-minute walk across to Le Marais. The nearest metro stops are on Line 10, which is one of the least well-connected lines in the city. However, a 15-minute walk will take you to the Saint-Michel station on Line 4 (which also connects to the RER). The apartment was tidy when I arrived, and the owner gave a very thorough overview of the apartment and the building. He spoke both French and English. The unit was very well equipped with linens, towels, pots, pans, and dishes. The room was decorated very simply, which I think was a good thing given there wasn’t much space to work with. Wooden floors and furniture, white walls, and a painting above the bed. The building itself is beautiful inside and out, in the traditional French style. The property as a whole was very quiet, with little to no noise from other tenants. If you plan to stay for a long time, make sure to write your name on the mailbox! There is no concierge in the building, so mail will go undelivered if you forget to do so. There is now an elevator in the building, which is great for carrying suitcases and groceries. The apartment is on the 6th floor, and the elevator doesn’t go past the 5th floor.
