The apartment is located on RueSurcouf, a quiet street in the charming Gros-Caillou neighborhood of Paris’s 7th arrondissement, between Quai d’Orsay and Rue Saint-Dominique. The street appears on a 1728 city map under the name “rue de la Boucherie-des-Invalides,” after the slaughterhouse on Rue Saint-Dominique, before it was renamed in 1867 after the Breton privateer captain Robert Surcouf (1773–1827). The Gros-Caillou neighborhood has a rich industrial and commercial history and is conveniently located near the Pont des Invalides, the Eiffel Tower, and the Seine. Here, you’ll live in an authentic Parisian setting with fine restaurants and shops, as well as excellent public transportation via the RER C line from the Invalides and Pont de l’Alma stations.
