Go to Paris – Since 1994, Classic Travel Group has been helping people find their home in the heart of Paris. Founded by me, Robin Sjöberg, we are a Swedish, privately owned company specializing in renting furnished, centrally located apartments for longer stays. Our clients range from families and individuals to leading schools, universities, and multinational companies. Previously, we were also a leader in travel to Asia, Africa, the USA, and Europe, but with our growing real estate division, we chose to fully focus on providing accommodations in Paris. With our experience and passion, we are your trusted partner in creating a comfortable and memorable stay in the French capital.

Go to Paris – Classic Travel Group is today one of Sweden’s oldest relocation companies, with offices in both Sweden and France. We are passionate about offering affordable and comfortable accommodations in Paris – a city we love and know inside out after many years of living there. Our business idea is simple: to combine personalized service with a family-like approach. Here, you often receive your price quote directly from me, Robin Sjöberg, and if you rent an apartment with us, you’ll meet either me or someone from my team at check-in. With a Swedish and international sales department, Go to Paris – Classic Travel Group is steadily growing, but our personal touch and passion for Paris remain at the core of what we do.

How it all started. To understand how Go to Paris – Classic Travel Group came to be, we need to go back to my childhood. My family and relatives were deeply rooted in the world of theater, film, and fashion. My father, Stig Gustafsson, was an actor at the City Theatre in Stockholm. My mother, Katarina Sjöberg, worked as a producer at the Royal Dramatic Theatre. My grandmother, Elsa Ahlsell, was a prominent fashion designer, and my grandfather, Alf Sjöberg, was a celebrated director at the Dramatic Theatre and in the film world, known for works like “Hets” and “Fröken Julie”. This creative and international environment shaped me from an early age. I had the opportunity to experience new cultures, countries, and places – either through productions at the City Theatre and the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm or through the many tours and guest performances my parents and grandfather participated in around the world. These early impressions of culture, travel, and international encounters laid the foundation for my passion for creating a bridge between countries and experiences – a passion that later became the core of Go to Paris – Classic Travel Group.

My first encounter with Paris! I remember it like it was yesterday – my first meeting with Paris. My sister and I accompanied our mother, who was then a producer for Ingmar Bergman, to Paris for a week of guest performances. It was a trip that opened doors to a city I instantly fell in love with. Paris became a place that fascinated me deeply and would later become my permanent home. My career choice felt obvious. I started my journey in the travel industry as a travel agent, tour guide, and flight steward. But my love for Paris and my passion for creating unique experiences led me to found Go to Paris – Classic Travel Group in 1994. From a small shop at Karlaplan in Stockholm, we have grown and now have offices in both Sweden and France.
Welcome to us at Go to Paris – Classic Travel Group, where we make your dream of a home in Paris come true! 🙂
